In spite of these statements, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - typically recognized for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.

Jake Paul instead targeted former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "a joke" after the Cameroonian rejected a match opportunity.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, targeted British rival Tyson Fury - and refused a large bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul victory.

"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he's present here," Joshua commented.

"I acknowledge that."

In spite of declaring he will damage his opponent, Joshua chose not to talk badly about his rival's pugilistic talent.

Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.

He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.

Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter remains one of the sport's greatest financial successes, consistently making substantial earnings.

Prediction and Belief

The 28 year old predicted a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would stop the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.

"It's going to be my match with Fury next year," Paul declared.
